The intern will work with the process development team to develop engineering operating instructions, test plans for new modules, measurement, recipe writing, data collection, and data analysis.





  • The student will learn process modules and their impact on device behavior.
  • The student will be responsible for engineering OI and test plans initially, and will receive progressive responsibility in measurement, recipe optimization using DOE, data collection and analysis throughout his/her co-op.
  • Will identify and recommend process improvements.
  • Student will attend regular departmental meeting(s).
  • Student will attend training sessions as required.
  • Student will develop specifications with team.
  • Work to meet project goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate with peers, project team members, and other departments on new product development, product line extensions, and product enhancements
  • Other duties as assigned




  • Basic knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, and Statistical Methods
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Good writing skills and interpersonal skills




Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with major in Chemical Engineering,

Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.  Must have a minimum

grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
