Equipment Maintenance Engineer/Technician, EPI Expert

 

Job Duties

 

Provide technical and tool knowledge in resolving process or tool issues. Develop high level troubleshooting skills and proliferate across maintenance department. Develop and implement systematic approach to equipment maintenance.

 

Ensure equipment characterization of new and existing tools. Responsible for defining the proper tool parameters to monitor, the frequency, the type of statistical monitor (spc or control chart), and defining the control limits. Responsible for machine level control and diagnostic systems in the fab (example - FabGuard).

 

You will perform repair and preventive maintenance procedures according to document specifications in a specified area. You will also support Production and Engineering goals by maintaining the equipment for optimum performance. 

 

Specifically looking for 15+ years of experience with 200mm and/or 300mm EPI equipment. AMAT Platform preferred but ASM ok.  Process knowledge preferred but not required.

 

Requirements

 

Qualified candidates will have knowledge of electronics, mechanics, robotics, hydraulics test equipment, pneumatics and vacuum systems.  Skills in diagnosing equipment, computers, trouble shooting, verbal and written communication.   This position typically requires an A.S. degree in Electronics, Robotics, or Vacuum Technology or Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or Chemisty.
